Reza Pankhurst is a political scientist and historian, specialising in the Middle East and Islamic movements.

His first book, The Inevitable Caliphate?  was published in 2013 by Hurst & Co (UK and Europe), and Oxford University Press (US and Worldwide). 

His most recent book Hizb ut-Tahrir - The Untold History of the Liberation Party was published in 2016.
